#1 is bigger. The lower number means a bigger hook.

So ... 4/0 is bigger than 2/0 is bigger than 0 is bigger than 1 is bigger than 4 ... etc.

I like the size 2 drop shot hooks ... because the point isn't bent in (like on the circle hooks) and they seem to miss fewer fish. I don't use any drop shot though.

I tried some number 4's and felt like I missed a couple more fish ... hard to tell for sure. But the size 2 are working great for me.

Do you use an o-ring - they're a great way to prolong the life of a senko for all day long...

The 2/0 should be all that you need for worm type baits in the 4 to 5in. range.

I liv in west virginia and i have never been trout fishing in a stream and i was searching for trout hooks and a picture similar to this hook showed up, so i saw this on basspro and didnt no what to do..help

you could but if you are using dough bait you would need to use a treble hook or a hook with a spring around the shank. good luck!
