Of course not. But, I have lost considerably fewer fish with this hook compared to the Gamakatsu's. They're almost too easy to use, and these are the only hooks I'll use for dropshotting.

YES set the hook. I use them for drop shotting and set the hook immediatly and swiftly.If the weights above the hook apply a steady pressure type hook set not a quick jerking type one.
