pliers are used to stretch the bands to go around the strands.
Most of mine have 30 or more strands.
Be sure to place the bands just short of center to allow for the strands to double back and be the same length as the others.

The Pliers are used to stretch open the collars so you can work the material in between the collar, and yes it does include instructions.

They are a specially designed pliers, which are not sold separately. However, this kit is made by Kayser Lures you might call them at 217.964.2110 to see about a pair. Thanks
