You would have to mount a 2"x4" board to the floor to mount the seat bracket Then I don't know if that will work

Yea the seat swivel will bolt on the seat plate but it is hard to slide from side to side

Seems to me it would work just fine with out the pole. The seat base will not screw in like the pole, but of then that should work fine...
