YES IT WORKS VERY WELL WITH STRIPER AND HYBRID BASS. I HAVE ALSO CAUGHT LARGEMOUTH ANS WHITE BASS WITH IT ALL ABOUT 2 HOURS BEFORE DARK WHEN THEY START FEEDING. ALSO EARLY IN THE MORNING FROM SUNRISE FOR A COUPLE OF HOURS. CHARTRUSE COLORS AND BONE WHITE SEEM TO WORK THE BEST HERE IN MISSOURI. SOLID CHARTRUSE IS THE PREFERED COLOR. WE JUST USE A WALK THE DOG PATTERN OR JUST POP IT QUICK. FAST BUT NOT TOO FAST. A MEDIUM RETREVE SEEMS TO WORK BEST. GIVE IT A TRY AND GOOD LUCK.

works great best time is during spawn season and fall when the shads are shallow and at dawn and dust . just simply cast it out as far as u can then walk it back. try diferent speed and hold on tight. here in cali we get lots of boils(fish trapping shad on surface) ill throw past thoes boils then walk it right over the boil 50% catch ratio but u got to b fast boil dont last long. best of luck and GOD BLESS
