I use it just like any other rooster tail or arctic fox spinner, cast it out and bring it back at varying speeds. I typically give it a strong tug after it hits the water to insure it's blade kicks in immediately.It absolutely sinks but with good blade movement it's pretty resistant and won't sink too far depending on your retrieve speed.

It sinks. I use it as I would use a standard hook at the end of my line. It adds some weight to the line without having to use a heavy spoon. I add a honey worm on the hook to make it even more attractive for the fish.Answers

It all depends on what your going for, what time it is, the color of the water and the clarity of the day. There is never a right answer to "what size to get" when your fishing. Different fish like different sizes. Large bass like to eat large fish (about 2-3 inches long) small bass like small fish (about 1/4 inch to an inch). It also depends on the type of water your fishing in. Cloudy water you want to use the type of lure that you know the color of the minnows are. Same with clear water. I know I like to use bright colors in cloudy water and duller colors in clear water. You just have to kind of guess and learn from what they take and don't take.A:
I ordered the 1/6 and 1/4. For me the 1/4 preformed better. But the size you go for should depend on what you're targeting. I picked them up for trout, but I've had all sorts of different fish hit spinners similar to these.A:
