As it is a spring, a lighter spring will be more accurate with smaller weights. Unless you're planning on some over 15lbers on a regular basis, the 15lb would be more accurate.

A:
As you probably know, Boga Grip makes each model in IGFA Certified and standard. The certified models are obviously more expensive and harder to find. You don't see them for sale thru many retailers because of the price. The Boga Grips here at Bass Pro sell for the standard non-certified price and are not marked IGFA. Call Bass Pro and ask a customer sevice rep about this, they may have them availiable through one of their World Wide Sportsman/Offshore Angler locations.

Check the Boga Grip website. If it is, then all Boga Grips (the actual bogas) are no matter where you buy them from.

A:
Neither the manufacturer nor Bass Pro sends the boga grip to IGFA for certification. The consumer can send his/her BogaGrip to IGFA (954-927-2628 Dania Beach, FL) where they can certify it for world-record catches.
