I put out deer cocaine and it killed the area where I put it out. So I would imagine the same for this.

Yes it would, because this will soak into the soil and over time the deer will dig and paw at it to lick at the minerals. This product is not made to be spread or broadcasted over a food plot. Simply find a flat level spot of ground and dump all of the contents into one spot. Natural moisture will cause it to soak into the ground and deer will literally dig holes at it. I would put it out in some woods next to your food plot or 5-10 yards off of a trail that leads to your food plot. Also be aware that this product is used by deer mostly in the spring and summer months.
