I have caught some crappie on the Bandit crankbait while bass fishing but personally, I prefer using jigs or beetle spins for crappie fishing.

Okay, I will say that in the right colors this will work super when the crappie are in tight or up in spawning areas . But when they are in these areas they will hit almost anything that gets close to them . Invest in 200's for the times when they are deeper in crappie colors . In shallow go smaller cranks or small spinners or jigs . cheaper and more colors to experiment with for less money . I usually use tubes in shallow with spinner ( roadrunner head or beetle spin spinner ) or no spinner . When they are fired up the 3/8 oz. single spinner H&H spinners are super . I do love to use these 100's for bassin and they are great producers for me . Good 200 series colors are pink, white with splatterback , silver with black back , silver with blue back , white . Good luck and tight lines .

match the hatch...meaning find a lure that does a good job appearing to be similar in appearance to what the fishing are feeding off. Frog color, shad pattern, bluegill color, crayfish pattern, goby colors, etc. Hopefully that helps but a natural color is best sometimes especially in clear water. If the water is muddy try fishing something in a white color with a glitter to it. Clear water alot of colors work except I dislike dark colors, maybe green, a lighter shade or a red orange flake type of pattern. Make the best choice on these specifics. Good luck.

The Bandit 100 is a hard side to side. I have to step up to a 200 sometimes and heavier line to get the fish to bite.

If the main forage is gizzard shad or thredfin shad, I recommend the chrome with black back. I wouldn't go fishing without it.

Depending on water clarity...Pearl Redeye, Baby Bass Char.,Taco Salad are a few of my favs. in darker water. Silver Minnow Sparkle, Tennessee Shad, Louisiana Shad in clearer water. Trial and error is the best way to find your own good colors but those are a few good starting points.

Depends on water conditions. Usually you can bet on a shad colored crankbait, or anything else that will match the hatch, or best imitate the bait fish in the water you are fishing.

Color selection and bouncing cover the Bandit wins hands down but sometimes fish like the wider wobble of the Mann's. Both are in my top three crank list.

I am partial to the Bandits in all sizes. I think that may be because I have had a lot of success on them over the years

C4 is a much bigger profile, so if that is what you need, then yeah. But I would say no, smaller is usually gonna get you more bites.

Yes, when you hit cover, just give it a slight pause - this allows you to clear the cover and gives that bass a chance to eat your lure!

Rocks won't be a problem, but you will have to exercise some care around logs.

Yes it does very well. I use this bait around most shallow water structure, for aggressive bass

That last guy learned it from Bill Dance. I learned it for myself. This is my favorite bait, and it's caught some pretty good keeper sized bass for me. Deflects wonderfully off of rocks, as well as submerged stumps and wood.

YES! this is exactly why I always have this bait on one of my rods. When the weather is hot and the bite is slow - the 100 series will illicit bites

Yes it can. Just fish around tree stumps and rocks, and any bass would get the urge to strike this bait
