help please

Details: 
could someone please explain to me how to use these. i will be fishing in a deep mountain lake and i need something to get my lure deep. i dont have a trolling motor or any motor on a boat, im using a floating tube thingy. any tips or anything would be great. thanks

A: 
Set up your main line to the diver as shown in the instructions, then your leader with the lure trailing (aprox 8"-16"). It really is best to use this with a trolling motor, as it's the forward motion that gets the diver to dive down. (1.5m.p.h) The more line you put out, the deeper it goes (depending on the size of the dipsy diver #0,1,2 or 3) ie 100ft of line out with a magnum size dipsy diver will get your lure down about 80ft. I hope this helps you out!

will not work unless trolling. How deep?
Up to about 40ft use heavy jigs. At deeper depths use three way rig with bottom bouncer and floating jig head

You have to maintain 2.5 to 3 mph for the diver to work correctly. Might not work well in a tube unless you have big scuba flippers and strong legs.
