Are the hinges sturdy?

Details:
Some tackle boxes that I've seen, when fully opened, had very flimsy hinges and seem like they won't be able to last multiple seasons. Just wondering what the quality of the shelves and the hinges were. Thank you!

A:
Absolutely. I hate admitting it but I tend to abuse my equipment while I'm fishing and the hinges are still like new. Simple design, solid pin that runs through the top and bottom hinge. Easily fixable too if needed.

A:
Per Plano the hinges being flimsy is not something they have heard feedback on or had any bad reviews. This is one of their top picks.
