I think the best way to rig a lizard is putting a bullet weight on the line for a carolina rig.

YES! In the summer I often rig lizards weightless with an extra-wide gap hook and drag them over thick weeds and lily pads just like you would a frog. You can also rig them texas style with a pegged bullet sinker and flip them into the spaces between the pads... GREAT way to catch big fish!1 of 1
