Why are body lengths so inconsistent for Texas rigging with a 2/0 gamakatzu off set round bend hook. Because hook point sometimes winds up coming out in tenacles and cannot be used in weeds that way. Will we ever see body lengths longer in tender tubes? I am entering and exiting tube correctly with hook. I really enjoy using these fish catching tubes Texas rig.Answers

The tender tube is a bit shorter than some other tubes out there but that's because it's more of a finnesse bait . Try rigging them with a Slider style jig head , it has caught me alot of fish . I've been fishing this tube for a long time and I have not noticed the consistency problem with body length.A:
try useing the 4in tube or an ewg hook or maybe a screw-in-worm wt and a straight shank hookA:
I know what you mean, I use a 2/0 bass pro superlock hooks, but i just strecth it out and its a good fit. bass pro superlock hooks are smaller than the others. use it Texas RIgged WEIGHTLESSand you wont be sorry you ever tried

There are several other types of hooks and sizes that will work as good if not better than your choice; try Shaw Grisby's HP hooks with the wire clip in 1/0 or 2/0; Owner Rig N hook; KVD's NEW tube hook; your problem solvedA:
A simple fix that I do is just select a smaller size hook. I know that is hard to do in some cases because of habit, but I have caught smallmouth on hooks smaller than my pinky nail. 1/0 hooks rig well with these tubes.

Try a short extra wide gap hook. this should take care of your problem.A:
For texas rigging I don't lace the tube up the hook and . you hook it weedless the same wait you would a jerk or swimbait.1 of 1
