It does what it says and I wouldn't shoot without it being on. However, it is a bit tricky to install and gets in the way of the bow sling. The best way I found to install it is to install it where the bar is on the left side of the riser and then rotate the rubber end to where the string is centered in the channel.Details:

update:I got this email from an associate from limbsaver when I asked if you can mount both the decelerator and stabilizer on the front,
"Yes, you can mount both with our system. It has a universal mount which allows for front or rear mount with or without using a stabilizer. "

I do not have one of these but I was wondering the same thing. In the description it states "pairs with your stabilizer" so Im sure that you can use both together if it says it is meant to be paired with it. Hope this helpsDetails:

This is more for noise than it is for accuracy and keeps the string contained so it doesn't slap your forearm. I would add one to any bow that doesn't have one just for peace of mind on both potential issues.

I have a PSE Vibracheck dampener. I wonder if the LimbSaver replacement module will work on the PSE, or fil on the same thread?Answers

The replacement module fits on any 3/8" shaft. as far as the threads go, all bows are threaded 5/16" x 24 threads. Hope this helps!Answers

Buy The Limbsaver Decelerator You Will Not Be Disappointed

It may depend on which model you need. Do you have a real stabilizer hole? Some models only work with the rear hole. What is brace height on your bow. Some will only adjust out only so far. I know I will be purchasing the limbsaver because I have a bow with an 83/4" brace height and no rear stabilizer hole and this is my only choice. I think all these companies make a quality product but maybe one will work better for your unique setup. Read up on these products as best as possible to make an educated purchase.Answers

Yes, it mounts in the sabilizer hole on the front of the bow, the STS string suppressor also makes a front mount model. I have the Limbsaver on my bow and it works great.1 of 1
