Does this light come with a mounting base other than the clamp on that is shown in the picture?
Details:
I need a base that is mounted to the boat and the light can be removed when not in use however I cannot use the clamp on base because the surface is flat.

The light comes with nothing more than what you see in the picture. I have tried to mount it to the bow of my boat and the only way it will fit is if I put it off-centre, which is not ideal. This product is for use in emergencies only. If you have an emergency, you will find a way to attach it to your boat, somehow. As I said in my review, if you want a permanent navigation light, or will use it frequently, this is not for you.
