I am using it for fly fishing gear only as that is the only kind of fishing I do in Alaska. I suspect it would be compatible with holding all types of fishing gear.

I bought this bag and love it. The inside is packed full with pockets and movable padded dividers. The back is plain with a pull out dust/rain cover and it has straps to attache your fly rod tubes to the bag! Hope this helps.
