Saltwater Resistant?

Details:
In the description it says the reel has a "seven PT bearing system," not "seven PTs bearing system." So are the bearings saltwater corrosion resistant? Thanks

I contacted Quantum and they said the difference between the reels is the PTs has a coating on the outside, other than the color, they are the same reel inside.

Its an all around great reel dude. You should be fine fishing it inshore. Its six layer salt guard corrosion resistant coating will protect it from salt damage. I use it mostly for Bass but I wouldnt hesitate to take it inshore. Its drag is most definatly capable to pull in big fish.
