The boat shoe-inspired, water-resistant leather upper features 360° lacing for a sure and snug fit and a padded cushioned collar and lining for comfort. The anatomical removable microsuede footbed and patent-pending EVA molded shock-absorbing midsole provide great cushioning and support for comfort and to eliminate fatigue during long periods on your feet. The exclusive oil- and slip-resistant non-marking rubber outsole pads feature molded midsole channels for flexibility and sure traction. Salt resistant nylon laces for long life.     I normally wear socks, but Hydro Lites are comfortable without them as well.

    I wore them for brief periods without socks and they feel fine. For long periods, moisture will build up and that may make them uncomfortable - maybe even raise blisters. I wear them with socks and remove the insole to wipe dry at the end of the day.

    I wear mine without socks to take advantage of the shoes ability to help keep my feet dry. My feet perspire heavily. They are comfortable to me that way
