I have read some reviews for this product and can't seem to get the same results. One review said "good to 300 yards". When adjusting the scope, at 200 yards the target was so small I was not comfortable when siting it in. I wouldn't feel good at 200 yards (forget 300) that I would have a kill shot. I do NOT have the extra $500 magnifier.
Any suggestions? Am I just too old fashion? Should I just go back to a regular scope? Need some ideas

I have no trouble hitting a man size target at 300 yards with my EOTECH 512. The EOTECH is a great close quarters optic.

You will need to get at least a saddle mount that will allow the scope to be mounted.

A:
It should work with the proper mount. Several companies make scope mounts for Mini-14s that will allow this sight to be mounted. It should make a fine setup.

This holographic sight will work great on any rifle with a standard Picatinny rail system. Be sure to get a ScopeCoat to protect the sight against damage.
