Designed to get the big bite when the bass are acting skittish, the KVD Silent Stalker has the same great action as the Strike King® Pro Model crankbait without the added noise of internal rattles to chase wary lurkers away plus they are available in Kevin's best colors!

You have to go by the weight and size. For example a size 6 is a large deep diver, usually around 3 1/2 to 4 ". A size 3 is smaller and lighter and therefore shorter. Usually 2 to 3 1/2 " not counting the bill.
As a general rule it works best in clear water, when some bass are spooky. Rattling baits are designed to get the bass' attention when sight is difficult in dirty or stained water. Not a hard , fast rule however. I have caught smallmouths in gin clear water using rattling topwaters and deep dvers. Never know until you try them.
the first and second review somewhat sum this up as a whole they give another approach different from the usual attracting bass in when they are used to hearing rattles would work well in clear highly pressured lakes but i suppose it my work in slightly murky water
if you are catching fish on the same exact one but the one with rattles... and they stop biting that... toss the silent stalker out... its really good espesially after they are used to hearing the rattles and then the silent stalker sneaks up on them and they start biting that... and yes it can be dinamite in clear water. hope this helps
Not really. Sometimes the fish become conditioned to seeing and hearing the same sounds. The lack of rattles in a crankbait gives them a different look and you a more subtle approach. In a high pressured lake it will put more fish in the boat.
well the series 3 is 1/4 oz... the series 5 is 1/2 oz and series 6 and 6xd is 3/4 oz..... the 6xd is just under 5 inches long(including the lip).... the series 6 is the same and it goes down from there with the series 5 and 3
