I have been looking into other floros due to Suffix jacking up their prices. I like what I've read about this line but what about memory? Any info would help.

all lines have memory after awhile regardless of the manufacturers claims.the bigger the line the more memory.seaguar is a superior line you will be very pleased with its performence

I have found it hold its memory from the box for a little while. So you will want to spool it to your reel a couple days befor using it.A:
Memory is bad on spinning gear only if you get too heavy lb test compaired to weight of your bait. This line is thicker so go one lower lb test than say Berkley Vanish like if you use 8lb in Vanish than go 6lb in Vicious or even 4lb depending what species your after i guess. 20lb test in any line with just a Senko worm and hook with no weight will cause u a bad cast every time from my experience with line in my life time lol i would personally like to try the Suffix Mono on my spin gear some day it seems good my buddy is trying it out right now. With any flourcarbon line, you don't have to worry about memory. I do this every time I fish. Tie off to something, walk 40 yards, pull the line tight and it will pull the memory off the line. You will be good for the whole day. Tried this with several flouro lines, works with each one. You can test the theory as soon as you pull it off the spool. you will see memory on the line, just take a few yards and pull tight and you will see it fall flat.1 of 1
