I am thinking about purchasing this reel. I was wondering if it is a good option for snook fishing.

The max drag seems to be on the low side (I am an amateur) from what people tell me for snook fishing.

Thank you for any help you can provide.

no need to make such a BIG purchase for an amateur angler. u can use the offshore angler or ocean master baitcast combos for snook, reds, and trout. and get away with 12 or 14lb test mono. and you can still use it to catch plenty of spanny macks off the skyway fishing piers when they run threw.

I have always used Abu Garcia reels and my favorite baitcast reel right now is the Revo Inshore. I was wondering how this reel compared to the Revo and if it is worth the extra money. It sure does look cool.
