Reel width?

Details:
How wide is the reel? Looking to use this reel for throwing surface irons here on the West coast and was wondering if this reel is wide enough to cause wobbling while retrieving.

Is there a spool control

Details:
How does the spool control work on this reel? I called Daiwa and they said there is no spool control.

The description says it has an anti reverse rachet system. Where is that? Is that a spool control?

Any help will be appreciated.

A:
An anti-reverse ratchet system is an anti-reverse system that is generally stronger than a one way roller bearing. It is not a cast control system.

A:
Just going by my experience and not measurement......I've broken 30lb test when fishing for tuna. I assume you can get that much drag out of it.
I don't recommend it. At that setting you loose the "free-spool" capability for long casts.
