probably other lines would but stren breaks easily on good size fish
need trilene or bps brand fluro and it will probably be better and fit your needs

trilene casts a bit fRTHER BUT DOES LOSE ITS ABRASION RESISTANCE WHEN IT GETS WET FOR OVER AN HOUR SO OVERALL i say stren

forget the rest of em i say trilene and bps brand line is the best
stren doesnt cut it cause it snaps under less weight 4lb snaps on 3 lb fish
while ive caught a 7lber with other 4lbbrand
get trilene its just better

Stren all the way! The abrasion resistance of their Fluorocarbon can't even match Trilene. The castability is great too!

I like trilen better. Tears less just high price drives me away for trilene to try and find something different. Like Yozuri Hybrid too.

I've tried both in 20# for flipping and pitching with my baitcaster, and without a doubt the Stren is much better than Trilene. It casts much better and doesn't fray when it rubs against brush, (which the Trilene will do). If you are in heavy cover stick with Stren.
