A:
The rod isn't necessarily considered a "travel rod" (which usually consists of 3-4 pieces depending on the style and length of the rod). However, the fact that the rod can be broken down into two pieces does make transportation much easier, epsecially if you are moving in a vehicle that has limited storage capacity.

I use the 6'9" Medium Heavy. It is ultra sensitive, casts with ease, and strong enough to pull them out of cover

I've used this rod for numerous applications and one of them was a weightless soft jerkbait as well as a spinnerbait. It's an all around versatile rod.

You bet it is... I have it paired with a AG Revo STX and this works great for froggin and spinners... no question. The only thing this lacks over the higher end AG's is the lightness... but from the reviews I have read, this is sustittuted for longevity. No issues. Go for it, you won't be dissappointed.

Stay away from the vendetta reel. Ive had soooo many friends buy them and they snap like twigs. I have had my BPS carbon lite rods for a long time and have had people step one them, ride their bike over them, i've dropped it and no scratches or damage at all! I love my rods so much yesterday i went and bought a micro-guide 6'9" carbon-lite because i heard they went on sale. For fishing top water frogs and other top water baits i believe a longer rod helps. I would recommend a rod between 6'9" and 7'1". This length will give you more accurate cast and a lot of control.

go with the veritas or vendetta. both are great rods and only 100 and 80 bucks. unless you like expensive rods like G. Lommis. im not sure wats with the small rods maybe for panfish but if you go with the 6'6 or 7' foot rods youll be able to cast lot more further and more accurate. but those 2 rod are amazing.

I'm gettin a JM signature bass caster so what would yall recommend to match that? plannin on using it for fresh and inshore salt. I know typically people say keep the model the same but if the vendetta is better and cheaper it doesn't matter to me.

I wouldnt get the vendetta, especially for saltwater. I snapped mine after a few uses. I was setting the hook on a 4-5 pounder using a senko from a kayak from a fair distance. very fragile rod in my opinion.

With the 7'3" MH/fast paired with a Winch, I can feel the deep divers wiggle with no problem. It's quite a sensitive rod for the price.

I'd personally go with the Med action with Mod Fast tip. That's what I use for crankbaits and yes you can feel the wobble in the rod on retreives, great rod for crankin in my opinion

These rods are very similar in power and action to St. Croix Rods.

There's really no quantifiable way to measure sensitivity even though most people will try to tell you they know one rod os more sensitive than another. Given that point of view, I beleive the most sensitive rod can only be defined my the stiffest rod you can get in the lightest weight.

These rods are very stiff for their weight, they should be as sensitive as any other rod in their price range all the way up to $150 class rods.

I have just ordered a Shimano Citica and would like a good rod for under $100
Mainly Fishing crankbaits and spinnerbaits but occasional weighted soft-plastics.
I have been looking at the BuCoo, Veritas, Vendetta, and TFO.

i would def go with the Abu Garcia Veritas rod. i have 3 of them 2 baitcasting and 1 spinning. i have a 7'3'' for flipping and pitching, and two 7 footers for just cranks, other plastics, and the spinning one is for finesse fishing. its 100 bucks and is the best rod out there for that price. many say the Mojo Bass rod by St. Croix is better but it isnt. the Veritas is lighter, has more sensitivity in my oppion but im only 16 wat do i no about fishing. ha ya just messing. ya the veritas is an amazing rod and you should def check it out. ur best off with the 7ft or 7'3''. go to BPS and check it out. it blows other rods out of the water except G. Lommis but there like 300 bucks.

Oh boy do i have the rod for you. The BPS Carbonlite rod is the one. I absolutely love my Carbonlite. And for the price tag of $99.99 you just cant beat it. This rod is amazingly durable and sensitive as well as stylish.

Although i do not personally own this rod, i have a BPS Carbonlite 6'9" and its perfect for me. I think 6'9" is the happy median between your shorter rods and your longer rods. It allows enough whipping action and sensitivity you would expect from longer rods with the backbone of a shorter rod.

the veritas has a nanocoating on it for further pretection and it aslo features a bigger but cap for more comfert, but other than that there is little difference. the guids are the same and they both have the same blank. i have both and like the veritas more for its looks.
