Not sure about that, but I've not had a problem with my feet getting wet in these boots. They are lightweight and comfortable. I've had mine going on 2 years.

BONE DRY waterproof technology is RedHead's waterproof technology that serves the same purpose as GORE-TEX. The technology may differ a bit, but the end result is the same.
