Yes it will work great because you wont have to worry about the arrow falling of the rest during quick shots at fish.

Work with Low Draw Weight?

Details: 
I have a fuse bow for my 5 year old, she is pulling about 10 lbs....will this drag the arrow down to a slower speed...I'm worried because off the rest she doesn't ahve a ton of speed as it is. thanks in advance for any help.

my wife has a 50 pound draw weight bow and it doesnt effect hers at all i would have to say the whisker buscuit would work just fine, and its a great investment.

If I were you i would not use this product on a bow that is shooting that little of draw weight. Because she is not going to be doing any hunting it might be smart to get her a rest that just has the two prongs like the (New Archery Products® QuikTune® 1000 Arrow Rest) with this rest it probably wont "stop" the arrow as much as the whisker biscuit will.

it depends on what size your arrow is i shoot a medium with beman ics 400 there is a little bit of play but doesent seem to effect the performance any i still get inch groups. my bow is a parker hunter mag that ive had for about 7 years whisker biscuit has been on there for about 5

this is a very simple task, just loosen the two allen screws at the base where the buscuit goes in and the buscuit comes right out. i highly recomend buying the new buscuit replacements.

don't know if you can used older style or not but replacing them takes all of 3 minutes. Unscrew allen key and remove whisker and vice versa
