Yes this ladder stand is built like a tank and is plenty wide enough. But like any type of ladder stand where you stand is not very large...but lets be honest if your hunting your not up there to be dancing around and moving all over the place. But I am 6' almost 200 pounds and this stand is ROCK SOLID if mounted like it should be. I am 38 and have been hunting since I was 13 and have owned and used almost every brand of climber, lock on and ladder deer stands and this stand is THE BEST stand I have ever used no joke. If you buy it you might want to make sure and but a roll of 3M black tape for the clips that hold the ladder sections they rattle when climbing into the stand but it took me 45 seconds MAX! to wrap the 4 clips. BUY IT worth way more than Bass Pro is charging I am buying another one just like it for another tree in the woods I hunt and I night buy another one just because it's such a deal a person better buy as many as they want for this price and how solid and well built this stand is! Like I said like ANY ladder stand there is not a lot of room where a person stands but if a person is deer hunting you shoudnt be moving all over the place in it. The goal to seeing more deer is moving as little as a person can.
