These are different types of spinners. The Blue Fox is weighted, the other is not. You have to use different techniques with them.

i think the quality of the blue fox is much better, and they work about the same, but with the mepps spinners larger fish tend to bend them and after that they dont swim right and the blade tend to not spin as freely.A:
There is no question, Mepps are infinitely better than the BPS spinners.BUT, these are only $1.50, so you can afford to buy a a large quantity in a bunch of bunch of different colors to fit the fish you are after.
That's what I did and I am satisfied with the end product.

Use a steady retrive and twitch the rod tip evrey once and a whileA:
Fish it like a normal spinner lure if you need alittle more distance on your cast add a split shot 12" up from the lure. Theses lures will catch everything in the lakes. I've caught everything from perch to large bass even pike. You will out fish your buddy with theses lure.1 of 1
