Lamson Litespeed Hard Alox Fly Reels offer a true large arbor reel design with a fully sealed drag system--perfect for anglers looking for true performance. Lamson's Litespeed Fly Reels feature a scratch-proof Hard Alox finish, laid on thick for greater scratch resistance. The Litespeed's corrosion-proof, stainless steel Torrington zero-lash roller clutch provides instant engagement, improving feel and eliminating the ''spike'' effect that's typical when a pawl clutch hooks up. Fully sealed conical drag system produces a wide range of torque. Lamson's conical drag utilizes two cone-shaped elements that fit together precisely to completely seal the drag from the effects of moisture, salt, and dirt--resulting in variable rates of ultra-smooth braking. Lamson employed extra porting to decrease the Litespeed’s overall weight. Machined in America from barstock aluminum. Color: Gunmetal.
