Sun-Mar Excel Electric Composting Toilet

If plumbing isn't an option for that little primitive vacation cottage or temporary worksite, then the environmentally-safe Sun-Mar Excel Composting Toilet will make life ''out of the grid'' a little easier. The toilet is a stand-alone system that can be used without the need of running water. The toilet uses the natural process of decomposition and evaporation to convert human waste into useful fertilizing soil. To simulate residential use the Excel was tested by the National Sanitation Foundation (NSF) at maximum capacity for 6 continuous months, during which the Excel produced no odor and produced clean, safe compost. Electrical units feature high quality blower fans, thermostaticly controlled heaters and a 2" vent stack which acts like the chimney on a wood stove.
