Orvis® Battenkill Bar Stock Fly Reel or Spare Spool

The Battenkill Bar Stock Fly Reel is 20% lighter than the original. Why did Orvis redesign one of their best-selling reels of all time? Simple. They knew they could build it even better. The Battenkill Bar Stock owes its success to a machined bar stock 6262-T6 aircraft-grade aluminum casing that provides years of precision and performance. The entire reel was built around an infinitely adjustable Rulon offset disc drag mechanism recognized for its dependability. Each reel also features stainless steel gearing that is durable and virtually maintenance free allowing for easy switching from right to left hand operation. They're saltwater proof thanks to the black titanium finish which is anodized for extreme durability. Color: Titanium.
