The fixed mount Oceanus DSC VHF Marine Radio's ultra-compact rugged construction saves valuable space and will withstand the harshest marine conditions. The reliable Oceanus Marine Radio provides communication on all U.S, International and Canadian marine channels and its high-performance transceiver ensures clear communication while preventing and rejecting outside interference. In the event of distress, the Oceanus features Digital Selective Calling (DSC) which givers you the ability to press one button to call for help during an emergency. The Oceanus Radio's weather alert sends NOAA weather alerts when inclement weather is possible while the Triple Watch Plus™ feature allows you to monitor emergency channels 16 and 9, another user selected channel and weather alert. In addition to the channel up and down controls, the Quick Command™ control on the microphone enables one touch access to the Coast Guard channels 9 and 16. A backlit keypad makes operation easy in low-light conditions and LCD display is equipped with a fully adjustable LCD contrast setting.
