This miniature version of a high-tech municipal water-treatment system is the easiest and most reliable device for purifying large amounts of water. Easy to operate and perfect for groups, long trips or any situation, including disaster-preparedness that needs large amounts of drinking water. The system was developed for the military for on-the-spot purification - eliminates viruses, bacteria, giardia and cryptosporidia. It's the size of a small flashlight, so you can carry it anywhere. Easy to use: simply add water to the unit and press a button, eliminating time-consuming pumping, and purifies anywhere from .5 to 4 liters at a time without using Iodine. Includes safety indicator strips that verify performance. There's also no shelf life as the unit gives you a fresh solution with each use - you only need to replace the batteries and salt on a regular basis. Requires 2 CR-123 lithium batteries (included).
