Made to last, the Danner® Light™ II 6'' boot is a low cut hunting and hiking boot created with long distances over rough rough terrain in mind. The Light II features a heavy-duty, breathable Nubuck leather and 1000 denier nylon upper on top of a rugged, long-wearing Vibram® Kletterlift outsole with a traditional hiking lug design for traction and stability. Full Gore-Tex® bootie with Cambrelle® lining keeps your foot free from moisture on the inside and the outside. An airthotic footbed further enhances the comfort level. Midsole is layered with polyurethane and rubber for extra shock absorption. Danner's Stitchdown construction gives you a wider-than-average platform for superior stability from your boot and the ability to re-sole the boot to get even more years of service from this great boot. Danner's Stitchdown Construction creates a wider platform to deliver increased stability and an incredibly durable base underneath your foot. This heavy-duty construction process starts with conforming the upper to one of Danner's durable lasts and then flaring this piece out to cement it to the midsole. These two pieces are then stitched together with a heavy thread in an interlocking stitch for a super secure attachment. This firmly stitched boot is then cemented to a top quality outsole to deliver a boot ready for hard work and abuse. In addition to delivering a superior boot, this process also allows you to re-sole the boot to add years of life to these top quality and top performing boots.
