White River Fly Shop® Pheasant Tail Clump

Pheasant tails are used for fly and streamer wings and tails for mayflies. They also make excellent wing cases for nymphs, nymph fibers and quill bodies. The long fibers at the base of the tail can also be used to make legs on daddy long legs patterns and other large spider flies. The hearl from the center tail makes excellent bodies for dry or wet flies and nymphs.
