Clarion's CMS1 Marine Mechanism-less Source Unit was designed to offer maximum protection combined with maximum enjoyment of today’s audio sources. The CMS1 is made to link with USB, iPod interface, AUX in RCA jacks, Sirius interface and more. Simply attach what you like and create a customized system, because the music sources you enjoy on land should also be enjoyed at sea. With your iPod connected to the CMS1’s rear iPod input, you’re able to enjoy control of most of your iPod’s functions with audio heard through your on-board speaker system. The USB slot located on the black box unit lets you play MP3 files you’ve ripped from CDs and stored on a USB Memory or portable USB MP3/WMA player (not included). If the built-in AM/FM/Weather Band radio isn’t enough, then hook-up your Sirius Satellite Radio Receiver to the Sirius interface located on the back of the CMS1, or listen to your portable satellite radio through the AUX input.
