With Heatshield Optimal Technology (HOT S.L.) synthetic insulation and overlapping shingle construction, the Aleutian BX 20º Mummy Sleeping Bag from The North Face® is a family friendly bag built to keep you warm. Perfect for backpackers and campers on a budget, this three season bag is great for canoe trips, long distance hikes, or just a weekend trip to the local park. The Heatshield insulation utilizes different sized hollow fibers that compress easily for packing, but resist compression breakdown to retain and provide more loft for more warmth and a longer life span for the bag. The Aleutian's overlapping shingle construction delivers better thermal efficiency than the typical sleeping bag, eliminating unpleasant cold spots. A full-length draft tube and adjustable hood drawcord with cordlock work further to keep warmth in the bag where you want it when the mercury starts falling outside. Durable Enduralite polyester shell with soft polyester taffeta lining. Easy grab zipper pull tabs make settling in easy. External zippered chest pocket. Collapses to fit into the 8'' x 17'' stuffsack (included). Carry weight: 3 lbs. 6 oz. Bag measures 84''L with a 62'' circumference at the shoulders to easily fit campers up to 6' tall.
