With its exceptionally crisp handling and smooth operation in all phases, you're going to love taking your limit with the Maxus Baitcast Reel from Browning Fishing. Designed with a durable yet lightweight anodized aluminum one-piece frame and spool, the Maxus features nine double-shielded stainless steel bearings and a PowerLock™ Instant Anti-Reverse roller bearing to deliver trouble-free casting and wobble-free retrieves. A Fail Safe Cast Control™ system combines a centrifugal and magnetic braking system to help minimize backlashes and to provide unparalleled accuracy; both systems are externally adjustable, and the left-side palming cover has a push button release for easy maintenance. The super-smooth, easy-to-adjust star drag system offers ten-pounds of stopping power which is enough to stop a lunker before it finds its way back to cover.
