These irons incorporate the same SuperFast technology found in the Burner drivers to promote faster swing speed and greater distance. This technology delivers lighter, longer shafts, lighter grips, larger, more forgiving clubheads, higher COR clubfaces, higher launch angles and lower spin-rates. These supersized irons provide a large clubface with TaylorMade's Inverted Cone Technology to give you high energy transfer(COR) over a larger portion of the clubface, so you get more consistent distance on mishits. Advanced perimeter weighting delivers an extremely high clubhead MOI for more forgiveness and less distance loss on off center hits. TaylorMade's new, advanced Multi-Functional iron sole features a wide sole beveled at the back to make it perform like a much thinner sole, increasing playability from a variety of lies. The sole's low and deep center of gravity makes it easy to launch the ball on a high, powerful, and penetrating flight. These irons also feature a vibration management cavity badge for a satisfying sound and solid feel, a recessed heel and toe for reduced drag, thick top line, and large offset.
