The Diamond Edge Sharpening System’s surface was designed with tear drop holes in the top to help catch the small metal flakes that build up. The large 7'' x 2-1/4'' top grit surface makes it more secure and easier to hone a sharp edge. The raised sharpening base securely holds the sharpening system in place with rubber feet on both ends.

After each sharpening session, turn the Double Sided Diamond Edge Sharpening System over and allow the shavings to fall out, then wipe clean. This system can be used dry or wet with fresh water. Do not use oil on these sharpening surfaces.

Cleaning Tip: Clean the unit with soapy water and a small brush after every 10 sessions, and then dry thoroughly.
