Berkley® TEC™ Hotwire Superline Cutter

Berkley TEC Hotwire Superline Cutter cuts cleaner than a knife, and eliminates the hassle of finding a line cutter that can finish the job without frayed ends. Designed to cut and cauterize braided superlines, the compact TEC Hotwire Superline Cutter features a replaceable tungsten tip that instantly heats to 1200 degrees. The TEC Hotwire Superline Cutter’s tungsten tip can also be used to weld torn soft plastic baits back into shape. The one-piece TEC Hotwire Superline Cutter is equipped with an LED light, powered by a CR-1216 battery (included) for cutting in the dark, and has a dual density SofTorx™ handle to provide a secure, non-slip grip. The tungsten tip is powered by two AA batteries (not included) and protected by a guard to keep it safe for the next time you need to cut superline. A spare tungsten tip is included and stores conveniently in the battery area of the handle.
