Our story began in 1972, when young Johnny Morris set up shop in his dad’s liquor store in Springfield, Missouri, selling tackle to local anglers on their way to the Ozarks lakes. Bass Pro Shops® quickly became the ''grandaddy'' of all outdoor stores.
