This boot features a tough but flexible leather and 1000 denier nylon upper with a non-metallic side zipper. Though these boots are designed to handle serious work, much care has been put into their comfort as well. Converse designers started with a durable high abrasion, slip resistant, non-marking, dual density, Sure-Grip-Plus Trail outsole and cushion EVA midsole. Then your foot really is coddled with the removable Foot Force F2 removable insole. It cushions the heel and ball of your foot with special dual density cushions, boosts heel and arch stability with a special heel cup and foot stabilizer, and wicks away moisture AND heat with its special nylex liner. This insole sits on top of a special polyurethane Shock Eliminator cushion that absorbs the shock of heel impact step after step, reducing the stress on your knee, ankle and entire leg.
