Fish Feeding

Come join us every Tuesday  at 7pm, Thursday at 12pm, and Saturday at 12 pm to see the fish feeding habits and characteristics of a variety of fish in our 19,000 gallon tank. Test your knowledge to see if you can recognize the different types of fish in our aquarium.

Easter Event

Here at Bass Pro Shops, we are hopping into Springtime with our FREE Easter Event from April 12-20, 2014. Enjoy all your favorite Easter memories plus pass important traditions to your own children.

 

Don’t miss this chance to get your FREE 4X6 photo of the kids with the Easter Bunny. You will also have the option to purchase additional photo packages that print in-store!

Photo Times: Saturdays & Sundays April 12-13 & 19-20 from 11am-4pm, Monday – Thursday April 14-17 from 6pm-8pm, and Friday April 18 from 2pm-7pm.

 

The kids are going to be super egg-cited to get their hunt on…hunt for Easter eggs that is. Saturdays & Sundays April 12-13 & 19-20 we are holding an old-fashioned Easter Egg Hunt. Registration for the Easter Egg Hunt will begin at 1:30pm with the hunt starting promptly at 2 pm and lasting only until 3 pm. Find 5 eggs in the store and return to registration to get candy!

But that’s not all, kids can enjoy fun Easter crafts on Saturdays & Sundays April 12-13 & 19-20 from 1pm-4pm as well as Friday April 18th from 2pm-7pm. While supplies last, styles may vary.

So be sure to bring the family by Bass Pro Shops this spring and enjoy making some great Easter memories.

Boater's Safety Course

Learn the basics of boating safety. Class is from 915am to 5pm. Customers may come as early as 9am. All children under the age of 17 must be accompanied by an adult. Both adult and child must be registered for the class. No exceptions. Lunch will be 30 minutes long. The exact time of lunch is at the discretion of the instructor. Any additional breaks are also at the discretion of the instructor.

RESERVATIONS REQUIRED. SEATS ARE LIMITED.

Boating Safety Education Challenge Exam

            If you are an experienced boater and have a good working knowledge of the navigation rules, required safety equipment, and specific Virginia & Federal boating laws and regulations, you may opt to take an 80 question challenge exam. You will have a maximum of 3 hours to complete the exam (1pm-4pm). The exam is closed book, no reference material is allowed in the examination room. The Virginia Watercraft Owners Guide should be used as study material along with other boating education material. Successful completion of this exam meets the Virginia law concerning boating education and a DGIF certification card will be issued at the conclusion of the exam attesting to this.

 

You must register on line at: www.dgif.virginia.gov/boating/education/requirement under Challenge Exam or telephone at (804) 367 - 0768 or by e-mail to Stacey.brown@dgif.virginia.gov or the Regional Coordinator at pnaco98@cox.net at least 3 days prior to the exam date. Walk-Ins will not be allowed.
