  Bass Pro is excited to welcome Dusty Wissmath to the White River Fly shop for several Casting workshops.

  Dusty has been fly fishing for over 47 years.  He is a member of the Board of Governors of the Federation of Fly Fishing Guides Association as well as a member of the Federation of Fly Fishers Certified Casting Instructors.

                  *The classes are on Fridays between 5:00 and 7:00 PM

                  *The classes are Free and aimed at beginners

                  *If possible bring your own fly rod

                  *There are a limited number of loaner rods if you do not have one.

  Workshop dates include: 

    March 22nd, April 5th, May 17th, June 28th, July 12th, August 16th, September 13th, October 11th, 2013

  Individuals wishing to pilot a vessel in Maryland waters born after July 1, 1972 are required to take the Maryland Boater Safety Course.  Safety on the water needs to be a top priority of all boaters using Maryland waterways.

  Cost is $40.00 per student or $50.00 for two sharing materials text / CD

  Class time is 7:00-9:00 pm

  Class size is limited.  Pre registration is required.

  Bass Pro Shops Outdoor World, Arundel Mills, is delighted to announce that we have created a kiosk located near our 22,000 gallon aquarium for the purpose of assisting the Maryland Department of Natural Resources (Fisheries), in registering new members to their Youth Fishing Club.  Parents/ guardians can register their children ages 5 - 15 for membership in to the State of Maryland’s “Youth Fishing Club.”

  Membership in the club is free and each new member will receive a Maryland Youth Fishing Club Patch.  Additionally, they can find out where special youth fishing events are held and share stories and photos on the Youth Angler's Log.

  Each month, Bass Pro will draw the name of a new applicant registered in our store.  The lucky youth angler will receive a Kid's Bass Pro Fishing Combo Kit to include a rod, spin cast reel & lures.
