Experience the Beauty of Manteca Bass Pro Shops
Upon entry visitors are welcomed in the grand entrance with comfort and warmth.  During the winter months a fire crackles in the large rock double-sided fireplace and a 65' replica of the world's largest tree, The General Sherman in Sequoia National Park, welcomes visitors.  Hand-painted murals from renowned artists depict scenes of California's picturesque countryside.  Spectacular waterfalls, lush forests, pristine mountain lakes and beautiful beaches-all are beautifully replicated by artists' brushes.  Giant, exquisitely crafted outdoor themed chandeliers, made by Bass Pro Shops' own artisans, hang throughout the store. Several of California's native wildlife are captured in natural poses depicting them interacting in nature.  Special displays in the store include a pictorial and memorial tribute to John Muir and the 26th United States President, Theodore Roosevelt.  An avid outdoorsman, President Roosevelt promoted the conservation movement and efficient use and maintenance of our natural resources.  Muir, an early advocate of conservation, was instrumental in saving the Yosemite Valley, the Sequoia National Park and various other wilderness areas.

Departments
Without question we are a fishing and hunting store with extensive displays and products for the outdoorsmen of every skill level.  However, we are so much more than just a hunting and fishing store.  Visitors will also find items perfect for camping, hiking, outdoor cooking, bird watching or whatever your outdoor pleasures may be. A gift and nature center offers a variety of items from artwork to lamps, to bird feeders and furniture, to home decorating items and gifts for the holidays.  Cooking accessories include cookbooks, spices, grills and jerky making items.
A wide selection of men's and women's footwear and apparel, featuring popular brands including Columbia, North Face, Woolrich, Bob Timberlake, World Wide Sportsman and RedHead are also available. A NASCAR(r) department offers racing clothing, caps and memorabilia for your favorite drivers.

Tracker Marine Boat Center
A marine and boat center displays a full range of boats from Tracker Marine--the world's largest manufacturer of fishing boats.  From big water boats to small fishing boats, canoeing and even kayaking, customers will find exactly what they need to have fun on the water with selections from Tracker, Nitro, Tahoe, Sun Tracker, Mako and more.  An on-site, state-of-the-art boat service center with 3 service bays will also be available for customers' convenience for boat rigging.

General Store and Fudge Shop
The store also features a General Store and a Fudge Shop.  Visitors can hearken to an earlier day while they wander through the General Store themed just like an old country store their parents and grandparents probably shopped for their general goods.  A large collection of foods and gift items are available for country, outdoor and lodge living as well as some of the best homemade fudge around.

White River Fly Shop
The White River Fly Shop, featuring antique and collectible fly fishing memorabilia, has a vast selection of the latest in fly fishing gear.  Experts will continue the art of hand-tying flies on site and assist customers in making the perfect selection.  Interested in a Fly Tying Course?  Talk to the experts in the Fly Shop for dates and availability.

Archery Range
The archery department offers a bow set-up shop and a 25-yard archery range that is perfect for testing new bows or sharpening necessary archery skills. Visitors are welcome to use our range, free of charge, to practice the great sport of archery.  Bring in your equipment and ask an archery expert staff for use of the room.  See archery department for details.

Our Aquarium and the Fish Feeding Frenzy!
Want a fun and free activity for the entire family? Join us every Saturday and Sunday at 1:00 pm sharp! Come a bit early and take notice of the great detail in the massive rockwork soaring 28' to 30' high above the aquarium representing Yosemite's Half Dome and allowing visitors to walk under the waterfall as it cascades into the 20,000 gallon fresh water aquarium. At 1pm every Saturday and Sunday our main aquarium turns into a feeding frenzy as our expert fishing staff feed our trophy largemouth bass, sturgeon, catfish, bluegill, smallmouth bass, and more all native to this area.  After watching the live fish feeding, kids of all ages will have a chance to help us throw pellets in the trout pond to feed our native rainbow, brook, cut throat, golden and brown trout!  This is always a BIG hit with the kids; the trout love to splash around and excite the crowd!

Arcade and Shooting Gallery
Kids of all ages will enjoy the laser arcade themed as a remembrance to one of California's most significant events-the Gold Rush.  Remnants of an old gold mining community have been taken over by a bevy of wild 'critters.'  The arcade features 56 animated laser targets and each laser rifle costs 50 cents for 20 shots.

Bass Pro Shops Tour - Bring the Outdoors In!
Interested in joining us on a tour to experience our store? Yes, groups of any organization can experience our Manteca Bass Pro Shops.  Let us walk you through representations of nature that California has to offer and possibly spark an interest to visit places such as the Sequoia National Park or Yosemite’s Half Dome. It is wonderful opportunity to see, feel and discuss a few wild animals in ways that many of our youth may never experience. Visit our aquarium and trout pond to see large trophy fish. Of course, a Manteca Bass Pro Shop Experience would never be complete without a free sample of our fresh homemade fudge and a few minutes of free play on our Gold Rush Shooting Arcade!  Experience nature as we bring the outdoors in! Need a place to hold your next meeting?  The Bass Pro Shops Conservation Room is a private meeting space inside our store that can accommodate 50 people. Bragger's Board
Do you have an amazing photo of you with that great catch? Would you absolutely love to brag about it to us and all our customers? Submit your picture with important info to our Customer Service Desk! We will mat and display it on our Bragger’s & Liar’s board located next to our Manteca Bass Pro Shops exit doors.  If you would love to get the picture back, add your mailing address to the back and it will be mailed back to you when it is time to change the photos.

Military Discounts
Manteca Bass Pro Shops offers a 10% military discount on item purchases to all military personnel and retired military from the 15th to the 21st of every month!  All you need to do is to present your current military identification card at the registers to redeem your discount.   One Day Class- requires students to pick up a book and complete the review questions along with a vocabulary sheet at home prior to arriving for class.

  One Day Process-

  3. Come to class at Manteca Bass Pro Shops Conservation Room

  In a continued effort to reduce firearm accidents, the State of California requires all first time resident hunters, regardless of age, to complete hunter education training or pass a comprehensive equivalency test before purchasing a hunting license.

  Bass Pro Shops in cooperation with the California Department of Fish and Game conducts Hunter's Safety Education Courses. The course and required testing completed with a score of 80% or better is required before you can obtain a hunting license. Each student is required to have 10 hours of ‘instructional time’ which should not to include signing in, breaks and testing. Traditional classes generally range from 13-14 hours over a 2 or 3 day period. The DFG has designed a couple variations to the class allowing students to do some home study time instead of having to spend so many hours with an instructor.  This One Day Course is one of the variations.

  Our Family Summer Camp will run June 8th through July 14th each Saturday, Sunday, Tuesday, and Thursday.  Activities will run noon-5pm.  Workshop times and days will vary; watch for more details.  Crafts will run noon- 2pm (or while supplies last).
