Pac-boots, or "gummies" as my grandpa called them, has gained popularity in the hunting community for obvious reasons.

Comfortable, durable, insulated rubber boots for the price of a cable bill -- it doesn't get much better than that.

Over the past years rubber boots, or "gummies" as my grandpa called them, has gained popularity in the hunting community for obvious reasons.  They don't hold scent, and they keep your feet dry and clean when you go through that mud that seems so prevalent in the outdoors.  Plus, they usually don't cost as much as regular lace-up boots.

For these reasons, I went in search of some rubber boots to wear during the upcoming hunting seasons.  And after a little searching, I found all these features and more in the  RedHead Bone Dry 16-inch 3-Ply Stretch -- 400 Boots.

Built with 4-way stretch nylon, the 3-ply boots have a snug fit that allows the boots to be worn for walking and won't kill your feet on your hike to your treestand.  Plus, the boots also come with an adjustable strap at the top so you can be assured that your feet stay in the boot.  With these you don't have to worry about your foot coming out of the boot and back into the muck when your boot gets stuck in the mud. (I hope I'm not the only one this has happened to).

You won't be able find a pair of boots this well-constructed for this cheap a price.

But you don't have to be a hunter to enjoy these boots.  These "gummies" are perfect for farm chores that require walking around in thick "mud."  And unlike the cheap "one size fits most" rubber boots that you find at the farm supply store, these are actually comfortable, and aren't just made for keeping mud off your foot.

If you're in need of a new pair of hunting boots this season, or you want some quality rubber boots, there is absolutely no reason why you shouldn't get these.  You won't be able find a pair of boots this well-constructed for this price.  If you do a lot of hunting, farming or even ATV driving, get ahold of these boots and save some money.

Since I've only had these boots for a month, I didn't get to do any hunting in them, but I did use them around my father's farm to help him work some cattle over a couple of weekends.  The boots were a joy to wear and I never heard any complaining from my feet.
