Hunters and fisherman have a language that's all of their own. The gear they carry afield and the explanations of their ways are foreign words to others. If you've ever overheard a conversation amongst them and couldn't quite catch up to what they're saying Bass Pro Shops can help. We've collected a dictionary of outdoor-specific terms to help everyone learn a little more about the outdoors.
   Today's Terms (2 terms)

Hitch (Hunting)
A general term for the series of knots and loops that are used to lash a load to a packhorse. There are many different hitches.

Loop (Fishing)
