deer tenderloin or steak cut into 1/4" thick strips.
1/4 cup onion finely chopped
1/4 cup shallots finely chopped
2 tbsp minced garlic
1/2 cup sour cream
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1/4 cup water
2 tbsp chopped chives
put enough olive oil to coat bottom of frying pan. add onion, shallots, and garlic and let sautee for a couple of minutes. add venison, salt and pepper to taste and brown it on both sides until its med rare to medium, then remove and place it on a plate. for the sauce, take the mushroom soup, sour cream and water and add to the pan drippings. add chopped chives and simmer about 2 minutes. pour over venison.
